Nick Winter Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 Great job, 'cuz. It looks like it came from the mold like that. Well done. Thanks, I've often wondered why there wasn't a Firebird kit?
Nick Winter Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 Got some paint on my Bird. Just the underside of the body and hood. This is after 2 coats, needs 1 more tommorow, or later tonight.

Nick Winter Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 I painted the breather panels on the hood. The hood scoop filler panel sunk, so I'm gonna sand off the paint around it and bondo it then repaint it.
Nick Winter Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 Well the body is done and assembled, soon as I paint the steering wheel I can put the body to the chassis.

FordWagonNut Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I just found this thread. I have been a "Rockford" fan for years. I was just born when the last season ended, so like some of us here, only have been able to see it as a rerun. I now own all the seasons on DVD. I am also starting my own Pontiac Firebird Esprit project . I bought a '76 MPC kit Firebird Formula kit when I was about 16-17 years old (i'm 30 now) and have planned on doing a Rockford Firebird once I felt my skills were at a proper level. I also saw that you stated your 13. My jaw hit the floor, your build level is well above your age. Keep up the great work!
