Just out of curiosity, I checked. These are the "comfort and convenience" items that come with the most basic, cheapest "entry-level" 2010 Mustang (the V6):

Air conditioning

Tilt steering wheel

Cruise control

Power mirrors

Power windows

Remote keyless entry

AM/FM/CD player

Digital-media player connection

Variable-intermittent wipers

But no power seats, Harold!

I remember seeing those cheesy used-car ads on TV as a kid, back when they made a big deal if the car came with exotic options like "radio, heater and whitewalls!" Things were a lot simpler back then!

Harry, my 69 Super Bee had a 440/Auto, Power steering an Brakes and an am radio! Other than that, not a whole lot more. The rear Quarter glass didn't even roll down! They flipped out!!! It was a BIG ol bench seat with the stifter on the column! AND NO carpets! BUT it was FAST!!!!!! Still wish I had ...... Oh well, it was a bare bones basic automobile, that had the biggest cubic inches ya gould get in the thing, and it LOVED ta run!!!!!!!! :blink:B):o

IIRC, when I got my '87 Mustang GT back in the day, I got A/C, tilt wheel, cruise control, AM/FM/cassette (later replaced w/ an aftermarket CD player), power mirrors, windows, intermittent wipers, rear defroster as options. It has manual seats cloth seats, no cupholder (grrr). I still have the original window sticker somewhere.

And the power brakes and power steering were probably options back then!

Well, the no power seat is a step in the right direction  . Offer a 'Delete' package and promote it as ' the fast economy car' :o:blink: . Everyone has to tighten their belts..

I haven't seen one in the Grabber Blue yet... I've only seen 6 so far... a silver V6 convertible, a black GT coupe, a bright red V6 convertible, a gorgeous dark blue GT coupe, a dark reg GT coupe, and a dark gray GT conv.. It's growing on me. Looking forward to driving one.
