painting the frame black is a pretty common mistake, not a big deal to be building a factory stock replica

Other common mistakes on factory builds is the at washer tank. They are not white. They are clear plastic. Engine heat and age makes them brittle and turn some what tanish white over time. Manual trans are not painted, but left bare cast iron or aluminum and front upper and lower control arms are not painted either.
