AMT '65 Dodge kit

I sennt a message to www.amtkits.com about the AMT '65 Dodge kit that seems in demand, or at least great interest.

"Are there any plans to re-issue the annual of the '65 Dodge 2 door hardtop? There seems to be a demand for this kit and if you can find one on e-bay it wil cost you your first-born child.

As I recall, the kit came with a Hemi and Ramcharger decals. Can you re-issue this kit?

We are not able to reissue the '65 Dodge at this time. However, we are aware of its significance and the interest that modelers have in it.

That reply likely means:

"We will probably reissue the Polar Lights '65 Coronet someday".

Shame that Polar Lights botched the body character line so badly. So close...but so far. Truly sad. The Polar Lights car models were fun, but they all exhibited to some extent the dangers of bean-counter mentality.
