Hey, welcome to a neat forum, and to the neatest hobby on the planet! Now, if you want tips and hints, the best way to get those is to ask questions, and ask them, early and often.

Also be specific with your questions as there are so many ways to go about the process of building a model .take a little time and read through some of the archives here and when you come across something that is of interest and want to tackle something you haven't tried yet ask away!also don't try to do everything perfectly the first model you build just take a certain technique and focus on that. over time you will develop the skills to build top notch models.
