Pete Hurst Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I have a 1971 cutlass supreme convertible that I am doing a frame off restoration and I am looking for a matching model car kit or die cast. Does anyone know were I can find one?
roadhawg Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 The Modelhaus has one in resin...... http://www.modelhaus.com/index.php?c=4182&p=63669 Hope this is what you're looking for. Good luck, and welcome to the forum!
Pete Hurst Posted September 18, 2009 Author Posted September 18, 2009 Would that be a Hurst 442? Yes I have a regular cutlass convertible but am cloning a 442 hurst convertible.
crazyjim Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I meant it as a play on your last name. That's what I get for trying to make a joke. There's another post on the forum about a 442. I guess Lindberg came out with a new kit.
george 53 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Pete if ya can't wait for Revells kit, the Danbury Mint makes a BEAUTIFUL 70 442 Convertable. It's orange with a white roof(detachable) and white interior with bucket seats an console, with the Ram-Air engine and hood. It's about 130.00 bucks so you may want ta hold out for the plastic kit!
Eshaver Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 OOOOOOOOOHHH, for that kind of money , I'll scratch build one ! Remember , I'll BONDO ANY RIDE FER 99.95 ! Ed Shaver
