RodneyBad Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 VERY SWEET BUILD!!!! I a working on turning a Lil Red Express into basically the same truck. I have the 4x4 parts from a older model, but I am unhappy with them. Contemplating building my own leaf springs, but I have never tried that before. if you could give me som pointers or even a few more pics of yours, that would be sweet! thanks! Thanks.. I just copied the 1:1 trucks using Evergreen Plastic strips and Round stock for ends.. I'd go a bit thicker the next time.

RodneyBad Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 were did you get that transfer case? again i am very unhappy with the t-case that came in the kit! I used the T-case from the Monogram 4x4 Ramcharger and turned that into a 2wd http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14354&hl=ramcharger&fromsearch=1
Johnag4004 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 May I ask where you got the wheels from please...
RodneyBad Posted November 28, 2011 Author Posted November 28, 2011 May I ask where you got the wheels from please... Thanks. The wheels are a combination of the Custom wheels from AMTs 1955 Chevy Stepside Street Machine and a set of Monogram wheels for the lip for up sizing the wheels to fit the Aoshima SuperSwampers ..
Wayne Buck Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Grrrrreat looking truck! Looks awesome & love the weathering underneath. Looks PERFECT!
