SteveG Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Here's the photo Kevin sent me, looks like a nice trans kit. Plated parts are always a plus. I just checked and I see Keith Marks does decals for the 76-78 Cobra II and 78 King Cobra -Steve
george 53 Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Guys I saw this kit last nite, up close an personal and it's NICE!!!!!! Looks JUST like plastic, an it's popped from the old MPC annual kit, so it's PERFECTLY proportioned, and looks GREAT! Other that the recent re-pop of the Firefighter kit, you CAN'T find a stock version of this year Mustang. Just use the interior/chassis of the Firefighter kit, an you'll have a REAL nice kit of a stock Mustang! Probly for a LOT less that TRYIN ta find one! I liked it, you will too!!!
Abell82 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 A very nice product, but one question. Why not cast the headlights in clear resin, instead? Wouldn't it be easier to BMF the trim ring, then try to detail the chromed headlight?
