chris4q Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I thought you guys may want to see this car. I bought this off ebay about 5 years ago. It's a 1/12 scale McLaren MP4/6 Honda by Tamiya and built by legendary master modeler Andy Matthews from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lots of scratch built parts and milling going on here. Amazing detail and of course, it's the last car Senna won the world title in. It was a lot of fun shooting this car and I also did some photoshop work showing the motor through the cowling. Enjoy
lordairgtar Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 That's just so far beyond my abilities. The mind boggles. A true work of art here. I'll bet one could almost smell the fuel in this one.

RJWood Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Stunning doesn't even begin to describe it Chris, do you know how long it took him to build it. It looks like no detail was left out.
chris4q Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Chris, do you know how long it took him to build it. It looks like no detail was left out. I'm not sure. sorry brother. There was a 4 page and front cover write up with pictures on this car in one of the model car magazines but I can't remember which one. I'll look for it and hopefully it will give us the info on how long it took to build.
