bsoder Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Decided to redo an OLD build of the "Heavy Chevy" complete with side pipes unfortunatly I'd painted it with duplicolor laq. so a lot of hand sanding was involved. I wanted something sorta mean looking but clean, I removed most the molding & door handles enlarged the rear wwells a bit redid the interior and did a little tweaking to the big block 454..been kinda preoccupied with our current financial situation, so this was a good distraction although I probably coulda done a few things a little better
Space Cowboy Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 A very well done Chevy. I like the color and your great detail as always..
vizio93 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Wow i like how clean this build looks, and the white interior. Nice job man.

David G. Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 awesome Chevelle! reminds me of the street cars from the 90's that used to be common at the street races. Dave In the '90s? I had a rust-bucket '72 Malibu with a dual-quad 427 Corvette engine that I ran the heck out of in the early '80s. Quite possibly the fastest car I've ever driven. I had to ease it up to about 35 mph before putting my foot into it, otherwise it would just sit there and shred the tires. Very good paintwork and detail, well worth the effort you must have put into it. Thanks for sharing the pictures, they brought back lots of memories. -D-
