A one year freaking project comes to a close tonight! Yahoo!!!!

A moment of silence please........

Received a Monogram Chaparral 2d body many moons ago with the wishes of the owner that I would - "find a chassis" and paint a body for this please. "Keep it as close to original as possible" were the only paramenters.

Well, I am no Chris Clark (bosmek) but I think it turned out pretty well!

There was a huge crack on the starboard fin. I am guessing it was from forcing the wing back into the holes.

I had to glue it back into position, putty and paint. Not to mention clear coat to match the rest of the car!

Very cool! I don't know how you do it, being able to fit all the components into a body like that. All I can say is I hope the guy doesn't crash it. The crack that you say that you did is not even noticeable. Excellent job on the repair.

THAT looks GREAT Jair! Trans Am Erik took me to a slot track thursday nite,an MAN was it cool!!! Haven't been to one in about 35 years! I couldn't believe how far they've come! Got that kit, now I need a lightweight frame,an FAST motor to go with it!!! Great Build!!! :o:lol:
