Guest arni Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 This started off as a standard 2CV until I decided to make a new body for it,all I used was the fenders, hood and trunk lid.The chassis is partly 1:35 HumVee and Plastruct, while the engine is from a Mustang. It was sprayed Ford neptune green.
george 53 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) Came out GREAT Nige! Great comparison shot of the 2 side by side! Maybe, instead of callin it a 2CV, you should change the name to an CV8!!! Can ya put an extra seat in it, so's I can ride in it with ya? We'd scare the sh!t out the cows on the backroads of Belfast!!! Edited November 9, 2009 by george 53
Guest arni Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Cheers George & Nick. George, sure I will fit a jockey seat.It will give you a 'brown trouser' (read pants LOL) tour of Belfast..
randx0 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 It turned out fantastic !What do you have planned next?
David G. Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 That's a neat idea and well executed. Though if I were to drive something like that, I think I'd want a bit more of a bulkhead between me and that 500 HP fire-breathing dragon. Maybe it's just the paint color but it also looks like some kind of VW variant that the WW II German army might have built.
VW Dave Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Totally off the wall, totally cool, and I like it a bunch.....maybe even more than the weathered one . I like the fact that you made something out of the spares; nothing went to waste, and you wound up with two great models.
E St. Kruiser50 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 BOTH TURNED OUT GREAT ARNI THE COLOR, WHEELS, AND STANCE LOOK PERFECT .
