This is the Modelhaus kit of the Ayala Brothers '40 Mercury coupe. The actual car was black, but I liked this metallic red better.

This is the only photo I have of it. I sold it years ago (wish I hadn't).

That is a neat model Terry.Did you use the Revell Mercury kit as a donor.

Nope--it's designed to use with the AMT '40 Ford coupe.

Terry, I had actually forgotten just how wierd that car looked . I actually had a old issue of a Honk magazine wherein that car was , but I dunno where it is nowadays . Ya couldn't tell what color cars were in Honk as the ink was green or just ole B & W . They described the colors to us then ! Ed Shaver
