Nice work on the Satellite, and I agree the light yellow will be a great color for it.

DWC is so confused about this he can't see straight. There's NO way he's right, he's just too stuborn to admit he might've made a mistake. (which he has)

Sounds a lot like the '78 Lil' Red Express hood debate he started....deja vu, eh?

71-74 RoadRunners are not as easy to clone as you make it out to be. Satellites and Satellite Sebrings have to have the stock dash swapped for a rallye style, Satellite hoods where different, and GTXs and RRs did not come in coupes, only hardtops. I am not even going to start on the engine and transmission differences.

They are still very easy to clone.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Now I screwed up though and got glue all over the window and some on the roof. I have a donor windshield from a scrapped kit but I need to get some glue off it and the roof without messing up my paint. Am I going to have to break down and wet sand it or is there something I can use? Also is there a way to get glue off windows without messing them up? Thanks

Roge, GTX's/Sport Satellites shared the SAME taillight bezels AND lenses, but the RoadRunner and Belvediers were different. But DON'T tell dwc about it, cause HE KNOWS.! ;);)

Thanks all. 99GT that link was perfect. Thats just what I'm aiming at. A plain jane maybe slightly modified Satellite. Hopefully some updates coming later on today. Tomorrow is my deadline. Thanks again all for the welcome

]UPDATE on my car. I will be placing it under glass but here is some new pics of the project as I tore it down for wet sand and more body work. I actually did the sanding 3 times. I used a windshield out of a Charger kit. Soon my Bronco will be under glass due to it was almost done before I joined here. Thanks for everything guys and happy hobbing! post-5372-1260646159_thumb.jpg post-5372-1260646317_thumb.jpg

Hey Marty thanks for the post. It looks right at home. Hey by the way... That blue Nova next to it barely in the picture.. Does the trunk open on that kit or did the guys with that car at the meeting cut them? Thanks

They were cut open by the guys that built them, and no problem on posting the photo.

Hey if you ever want to come by for a little build session let me know.
