Guest snapper Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 For missing parts, that sure did turn out nice! I like it! Nice choice on turquoise color.
voljeepx Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Really nice work, Denis! Color fits that truck perfectly and the stance is killer!
qmhd Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 as far as some parts were missing, I thought it could be fun to give it a hotrod style I did heavy work on the cabine as you can see on my fotky album with the WIP so I topchopped and channelled the pickup, created the rolpan at the back of the truck which was missing I seriously lowered the whole stuff and also I added wheels from a 48 woody
Chuck Most Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I like the smoothed-off cab with the spine running down the back. I mean, I like the WHOLE truck, but that's my favorite individual characteristic of it. First time I've seen a cab modified like that!
Ranchwagon Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Very nice, I really like windshield visor and other custom work to the cab and rear roll pan. The raised bed floor is a different idea, too, and looks good!
Harry P. Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 ok, you're going to have to explain the unconnected muffler and the rear spring setup to me...
qmhd Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 ok, you're going to have to explain the unconnected muffler and the rear spring setup to me... As said on the topic, lots of parts were missing so I had to improvise the job done here I planned to rework something and finish the connection to the muffler No particular thing to say (sorry) for the rear spring I'm not a mechanic, just don't know much about real cars architecture or setup so I'm sorry if this one is not too realistic
