I hadn't enough free time to work on the beast but here are some pictures of the WIP

here is my new project built from the box - no spectacular modifications here not finished yet of course but it's just a question of time

today I fond the time to finish the exhaust system and the front lights I think I'm done with this little deuce... (sorry for the pics, they are too "red", just don't know what happened)

ordinary? I thought that putting him in flat head was too basic...

the end is not so far I still need to correct the chrome part of the windshield and finetune the connection of the exhaust system This will be done for the next update

let's go for my Monday evening update (yes, here in Belgium it's 9.5 PM) front axle is glued in place all the rest is just a mockup (not glued yet) to see ho the body fits on the frame I need to finish the rear axle and connect the exhaust system (not dry yet) any comments are welcome

Small saturday evening update here. Things are going on, but very slowly, sorry I'm nearly done with the front axle. I've worked on the details and hope everything is ok The biggest part of my recent work was done on the small block. I did some wiring here and it was not the easiest part Here again I hope I haven't done too much mistakes. by the way, I have a small question: I wanted to work with a small oil filter (see last picture) located on the firewall but is it correct with the kind of engine I chose? And if corect, where do I need to connect it on the engine?

small update after a nice Xmass (hope it was nice for you too) I've chosen a pearl blue for the Deuce. After 3 shots I think it's not too light and deep enough to highlight the curves of the body. It will be sanded before clearcoat My will was to create a nice contrast with the blue by using a light grey I will use it outside on the firewall and the rims and inside for the dashboard I finally reworked on the tunel and than created the back of the cockpit where I placed the tank which I recycled from the 40 pickup. I had to relocate the battery but it was not a big problem hope you like the way it goes until now

Very small update here Most of the work done was on the frame and rails (filling gaps, sanding) I removed the chrome of the ibeam (later I'll spray it with Alclad) and drilled small holes - they were alrdeay marked on the plastic so why hesitate? I also created small shock mounts that's it for today.

I'm not fan of the side door but the body work and the frame are awesome ! keep up the good work !

Sorry to read that man ! I've never heard anything about red plastic bleeding through but I'm very scared as you know I've build a 40 pickup a few month later. Mine was bright orange and I hope their won"t be any bleeding in the future keep up the good work anyway !

Hi guys, I could'nt find much time to work on the Deuce during this week, but here nevertheless small a update As said previously I wanted to keep the transverse rear spring so I prepared a new mockup based on the kind comments from "62rebel" I hope that this new configuration will seem more realistic like this (note that I've replace the FORD 40 Pickup axle by another one coming from a Chevy) I also added a small support for the batery - that gives a little more details and I like that

Thanks for your kind remarks Now understand my mistakes and 'll correct them. I'll work with another axle (the red one misses details) My "selfish" desire is absolutely to preserve working with the transversal rear spring (I love so much the look) If you don't mind, I'll prepare a new mockup and If you've got time, it would be kind if you coud have a look at it

Of course it won't be I'll have to create it as I did for the floor and tunel. Just don't know yet the style I'll choose
