We visited our son in Wisconsin in early December and he challenged me to build a model for a contest in Waukesha that he was entering and that coincided with our visit. This is a combination of the stock '40 kit which I had started much earlier and the flathead hopup parts and wheels and tires from the hot rod '40 kit. Since it's a hot rod, the door handles, etc. are shaved (fewer parts to install!) Paint isn't the best and the stance is too high all around but I got it done and best of all I had a great time going to the contest and swap meet with my son!
