Looks good, Nick! How about adding a driver bust like the slot car guys use? Maybe stick a block of wood under it so it can sit on the seat. If you shoot the photos from the driver's side, you won't see the support block. Just a thought.

Pretty cool - actually hot - looking idea Nick. Give some thought to wrapping some of the cotton around the whole tire. I think it would look more realistic. Back in the day we used to use angel hair. I couldn't tell you what it was made from though.
