Just was perusing my supplier's site as they usually tell us dealers new stuff that is coming down the road, and found these:

TSM-2507 1/25 1964 Sprint Hardtop Car

TSM-2511 1/25 1965 Falcon Ranchero Pickup

Nothing on Trumpeter's site about it, and I have only seen pictures of the aircraft and tank side of the new catalog. Makes it very interesting!

I know alot of people aren't really thrilled with some of the cars Trumpeter has put out, but hey, its something new at least!

It has my interest as long as they are not high dollar kits. The cost of the GT and the fire truck are nuts in my opinion.

They're on the Stevens site, so I guess they must be somewhat rooted in reality. Prices not listed.

I wish them well. That's all I'm going to say for now :)

If Trumpeter can have these at least as good as the Monte, it should be worth checking out. I haven't built the Nova or the Bonne, but I get the impression that they're going the right way on the learning curve. As long as the engine doesn't look like its 800 cubic inches, but, hey, I have enough Ford small blocks, big blocks and Modulars, so as long as everything else looks good, I'll buy into it.

Oh, Trumpeter.

They will be fine. As long as you don't mind the roof too short, windshield too tall, and a ride height that would make a Jeep Wrangler proud.

But other than that, they will be fine. :)

I hope they do make them. They are at least coming out with something the other model companies will never do. I get sick of people on this board saying this or that will never sell if they make it. Trumpeter just needs to work a little hard on their execution of the subject.

I'll second that!

I'd love to have a '64 Sprint and a '65 'Chero- I don't see Revell or AMT planning anything like this! If they're about equal to (or better than) the Bonneville hardtop in terms of quality, and nowhere near as ######-o-rific as the Monte Carlo, I'll gladly buy several of each!

So far, my first and last experence with ANYTHING Trumpeteer was the 1960 Bonniville Ht . I only bought one on account of my owning a 1-1 example years ago . Since that horriffic experence , I hesitate to do business with this dubious company . I wish them and the " PAID OFF reviewers well over at The oither magazine who have obviously been bought off forever as they laud every thing Trumeteer has sent out ! :D Ed Shaver
