catdaddy_71 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 A few projects that I am working on to start the New Year off right! I built this car a few years ago! Pearl White Lexus with adjustable suspension! One of my current projects is the 2006 Corvette Z06. This is the Jada kit. I am painting it Tamiya Mica Blue Pearl. This build is out of box with the only modification being the removal of the top. The hood is darker is the last picture because I was going to paint the car Duplicolor Midnight Metallic Blue, but the interior is going to be black and I didn't want the car to be too dark. Last is the 1949 Mercury. This build is going to be a basic out of box build. I am going to paint it HOK candy burgundy, with a white and burgundy interior.
weasel Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 good start to the new year!! the vette looks nice,i love that blue, i've got a F430 that color... is that carbon fiber on the hood??

Mark R Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Nice Blue on the vette....that Merc. should look good in thos colors too !
catdaddy_71 Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 Nice! Thanks for the comliments! Got some updates of the Vette's interior. All of the pieces layed out I used some Tamiya flat aluminum and semi gloss black to add some contrast to the dash. This time I used semi-gloss black and metallic grey to add some pop to the door panels. The interior bucket all put together.
