curt raitz Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Very Nice... I built this car when it was 1st issued, the decals were a gigantic 'pain in the arse'...you did an excellent job on them I think this is one of the best lookin' Trans Am cars ever to grace the tarmac thanx for sharin' it with us
weasel Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 thnx guys... i hear ya on the decals... i took the drops and seperated them, still in line, but seperate from the rest, that made it a little easier..
Railfreak78 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Very nice and this is a fun kit. I did one a long time ago and I have to say between the guys doing these kinds of cars again... I'm getting that itch again where I need one lol Nice to see you had good luck with the decals as I was not so fortunate lol
Tony T Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I built the HotWheels version, and talk about painful decals! Mine was a box stock build, too. Nice kit, and I can see the revisions from the Mustang kits. I've got one of those to build one of these days, too. Very nice build!
vizio93 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Looks really good man, I love the spoiler !!! Those cars look awesome
Forrest Gump Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 this is basicly an OOB build, i did add a right mirror... decals were trimmed, a lot!![no clear carrier]... Sweet! I'm old enough to of seen these guys run. It was a golden era. Between these monsters and the mustangs there were some real tough fights. Word has it that the stock car boys thought these cars could of been a real threat to them! This would of been a hell of a lot better than NASCAR today! Excellent job. You honored them well.
weasel Posted January 6, 2010 Author Posted January 6, 2010 (edited) i hear ya...i'm old enough to have seen the original T/A cars!! and i did!!! i also remember the SCCA GTO and GTU classes...now THAT was racin... Edited January 6, 2010 by weasel
