1926 Snow Tractor

You're not gonna believe this... Talk about ingenuity!

This is a really neat 1926 silent film (on video) of a

tractor-snow-machine invented by Henry Ford, who is shown driving it.

Watch the whole thing (check out the Chevy near the end).

EDIT: WARNING- LINK WON'T WORK. I APOLOGIZE; I JUST CANNOT GET THIS VID TO PLAY

Here's 1926 technology that should be brought back - just in time for the

next Ice Age!

Someone sent this to me via e-mail. The video clip was on that web site message board. I don't know what to make of it... I have never seen a deal like this when a copy & paste of a url fails.

OK, I posted the same link that Erik did... why won't it show up? Is it part of these "skins"?

Quick history, it was not invented by henry Ford!! it was originally designed by a switz. Later was reworked in the 20's by the armsteads, and was called the Fordson Snow Motor. Here is a link to the wikipedia info on it! I posted this about a year ago here. LOL. I do still enjoy watching it though! Thanks for the link. All I did was copy and paisted it into the google search bar and it came up just fine for me! Thanks. Jody
