mackattack Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I was just reading an article on Tamiya acrylic paints and it said to use a product called Future first between a laquer paint and tamiya acrylic paint when airbrushing... Just wondering if anyone has heard of that product and where I could buy some? Thanks for any of your help? Ryan
SoCalCarCulture Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Future is a liquid acrylic used to polish floors! This seems to be their latest packaging.

Huh never woulda guessed that, but it must work if that guy used it. Hopefully paint will stick to it. might try it on a scrap piece of plastic first or something to make sure.
crazyjim Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I bought a bottle of Future at Wal-Mart. It shines real good. You ever shave off door handles/emblems, etc.? I believe it was Mr. Obsessive that posted to cover those area with Future so it seals the plastic before painting. You want to look at his 1949 Merc build. Lots of helpful tip there.
