Casey Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Are these beds made from the old AAM molds? I was just paging through a '96 issue of SAE and saw an announcemnet that All American Models had cast a Dodge shortbox for use with the MPC Lil Red and Warlock kits.
spkgibson Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Nope I spoke to Don himself on the phone, and he told me how he made the master,so it should be perfect!Plus the all the grills, and wheel covers ,Us Dodge Truck fans will be happy!
plasticfrog Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I looked at the site but one question is a sweptline a shortbox?
Casey Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) I looked at the site but one question is a sweptline a shortbox? Sweptline = smooth bed sides, like so: Utiline = separate fenders and narrower bed, like so: I believe The Modelhaus' bed is a 6-1/2 foot bed, which makes it a shortbox. A longbox would be eight feet long. Edited February 3, 2010 by Casey
spkgibson Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) It is indeed a sweptline 6 1/2 foot bed...............Steve Edited February 3, 2010 by spkgibson
