Nick Winter Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) Today I woke up went to school like always, then went to auto shop class, my favorite class, sat down, the teacher Mr. Foster came in and started talking to us and told us that the Service Manager of Nurse Chevrolet, was going to come to shop class and bring a brand new '10 Chevy Camaro SS for us to check out, later he told us how the owner of Nurse had bought our school a new lift and often donated cars for us to work on, well he also told us that there would be a rep. from "Whitby this Week" coming too, so the Camaro shows up, we through open the doors, he pulls it in under the lift he bought us, he gets out and his manager for Nurse, the news paper rep. shows up and tells everyone to get in close around the Camaro and lift, so I got in the picture, the guy told me more over a bit, I ended up right beside the owner of Nurse Chevrolet and in the front row, It should be in the paper soon, and I'll scan it for Ya'l to see. Anyway, what a great day. Edited February 5, 2010 by Dukefan69'

Jared Roach Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Sounds like you had fun man! I was walking over town at lunch to get some pizza, and sitting at the gm collsion centre, 1 cyber grey and 1 black one, man there nice cars, I like em better then the mustangs, alot, I liked the cyber grey better, maybe because I built 1 in that color. And I wish my school had auto shop, all my school is about is sports, which I hate.

george 53 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 High School was FUN! Our Auto shop teacher,Mr, Cornelius Armstrong, had a brother who was a Doctor. HE would let us to minor maintenance work on his TWO Ex-Lemans Porsche 917's!!! You know, Change the Brakes, Rotors,Bearings an all, Change the Oil, (First time I saw a REAL Porsche Boxer type engine) and we got to ride in it at lunchtime! I was his student aide for 2 hours, PLUS had 2 hours of auto shop in my last 2 years of High school! Those were GREAT times. They ONLY come once Nick, Enjoy the Heck outta them!!!

Nick Winter Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 ok I checked and found this, it's a bit small, I edited it a bit. The guy took a few pictures and I was in a few diffrent places during picture, the first I was beside the Manager and service manager. Article: WHITBY -- Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac partnered with the Durham District School Board to increase the opportunity for students to improve their hands-on education by providing vehicle hoists to schools with automotive programs, including Henry Street High School. Pictured on Feb. 4 were, from left, head of technology Tom Foster, principal Cheryl Karakokkinos, Nurse service manager Steve Good, Nurse general manager Dave Duggan and a Grade 9( automotive class at the school). Ed Shaver well I like my flag, not for some racist reason, if people look closly it says Dukes of Hazzard, then 01 then General Lee.
Guest Mustang3.8 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 well I like my flag, not for some racist reason, if people look closly it says Dukes of Hazzard, then 01 then General Lee. I too like this flag. Don't change it, Nick. I like this flag 'cause I have decendents from Kentucky dating back to the 1800s. I, too am not racist.
crazyjim Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 The flag doesn't bother me. I'm an official honorary Kentucky Colonel - bestowed on me by the governor of Kentucky several years ago. It's good for as long as I live.
