bill w Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 (edited) This is some of the work I did in the 70's and 80's. Bill Edited March 15, 2015 by bill w
Harry P. Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Those are spectacular! But 70s and 80s? That's a looooong time ago! Have anything from this century?

Smart-Resins Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Great stuff. I too know that kind of feeling though. I am a dang good artist the wife says. Even my mother who has a paintning in the place there in washington, says so. But I draw about once or twice every ten years. ONly when the mood really strikes me! LOL. The last one I did was a real quicky and nuttiing to write home about. LOL. Just a quick scetch. It would be cool to see more cars though! Keep it up. Jody
bill w Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 Harry, I did product illustration for 25 years (before computers). I tried the computer for a while, Illustrator and Photo Shop nice tools to have but too much competition from computer savvy younger people. Now I'm a model maker by trade, I'll save the drawing for later. Bill

Literally learn the computer or go into another line of work. Now I do ALL my work on the computer. I love Photoshop and Illustrator... I wonder if I can even still draw by hand? I haven't done it that way in a long time! I do all my illustrating with Illustrator and Photoshop. My avatar is an example... drawn completely with Photoshop.
bill w Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 I saw your work on this forum, very nice work, I do all of my line drawings in illustrator and try to make my photography look better with photo shop, but forgot 99% of what little I did know. Bill

Stang67 Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 I admire both of you for staying in it! Once I was let go from GE that was it. I had to learn many new things one of them was building houses. I'm almost 50 not a time to start a building trade. I illustrated military parts manuals for years.
