VW wheel/tires that could be offered in resin if interest is good

I created the 5 Bolt BRM (in plastic), Radar, and American wheel.

Over the years I have commissioned various casters to pop out a few.

At this time, past agreements and permission to recast have been stopped.

A new caster has asked permission to repop them and I am curious as to the demand.

The white metal BRM was mastered by Dennis Chung. It is 1/24 scale and more flat than my version. I would have to ask his permission for that version.

The other wheels, tires shown could also be repopped. The gates commando tires are getting harder to find.

This is for you VW guys out there, your thoughts?

id take a few sets!!!! some Fuchs and teledials should be casted also!!! jut an idea!! i know about the kits that have them but its easier to buy a set. than the whole kit.

I would buy some of each. With the AMT Meyers Manx coming out this year, it would be a good time to bring them out.

I cast some of the resin Empis for Dennis many years ago!

I feel the 356 style rims are a much needed item for older VW's. They are done so well and have so many possibilities.

In the end, it all depends on the quality of the castings...

I think it's a great idea to offer some optional VW wheels in resin (Robbing a Fujimi Porsche 356 each time you need a set of wheels is geting kinda expensive).

If you can get a skilled caster like Alan Raab (Ma's resin) to cast the wheels and possibly even the tires, I'm in for quite a few sets...

I too have a set of Dennis' white metal BRMs, but I'd love more of them....those Americans and Radirs are something I'd be interested in for sure!
