Modelmartin
I remember that car from the pages of Car Craft way back when ( '70 - duh!). That was an awesome car and your model is way, way cool. That paint is awesome, as is the fabrication and all the detailing. You can be proud of that one for sure. Thanks for showing us your work. pharr7226
The paint work is very impressive. It must have taken quite a while to lay down all those paint details and masking. I have no idea of what that Allison engine is supposed to look like, but yours looks fantastic. Congratulations on a killer build. Congrats also on the SAE feature on you some time ago. Dragline
Another Over The Top build John. You keep building such unique subjects. You are inspiring me to go full scratch and build a car no one has ever built. This is indeed inspiring me. Bob
Jello
OK...,When I first saw the pics, I thought, here is the real car and now check out the model itself...turns out the real car pics IS the model car!! I was so speechless I couldn't find nothing to say! Finally came back again ( actually 3 times!) and I must say, its just magnificent and a real piece of art! The craftsmanship you put into the Mustang is very well exceptional done! As someone who knows what to look for and appreciates all the details and effort you put into it, thats one model car and its builder I admire! Thanks for giving us the pleasure of viewing this fine piece of art! MCM should consider putting centerfolds in their magazine and this one gets my vote for the first one! The work some of you guys do never stops amazing me!. ~ Jeff

shucky
John, I had to save those pics to my computer like I have done so many times before with your builds. Truly amazing! Truly talented! Thanks for sharing the pics, we ALL appreciate staring at your wonderful builds.
Bernard Kron
I spent quite a long time and burned up many pixels studying and photographing your models at last weekend's NNL West. I was so glad you brought them. I had no idea this Allison powered beast was an actual historical car. It looks nearly as good in your superb photos as it did there in front of me on the table. I think your builds bring something more than great detail and execution to the model, they all have a flair and a passion about them them gives them a realism that makes then stand out no matter how they're viewed. Thanks so much for sharing them with us all!
Raul_Perez
Now I see why I haven't noticed your finished models on the forum...you're posting them, (appropriately so), in the Drag racing Models category that I rarely look through... Being typically short on time, I usually only scan through the On the Workbench and Under Glass sections. I guess that I'll have to start looking here more often. Your work is incredible!! Did you post pictures of the salt flat race bike on this forum? I haven't found it, yet... Thanks for sharing,
Crusader101
John, your models have soul...as such they are more than mere models, they are truly works of art.
