tuffone20 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) I built this one in about 2 weeks or so and was trying to build it to look like one a friends older brother had when I lived back in Pontiac, MI It was a fast & fun build, well expect for when the chrome on the rear bumper starting coming off But I was lucky because I had another kit to get a replacement bumper out of. I need to touch up some of the BMF but I think it came out pretty good. Edited March 11, 2010 by tuffone20
Nick Winter Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Wow now that's a nice bird. BTW not sure if you left it off or something but you didn't BMF the Plymouth on the right edge of the hood.
diymirage Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 its nice i like the colour matched steel hubs, make it looks like a real no nonsence street warrior which brings me to the next question....where are the engine shots ?
Railfreak78 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 That was a nice surprise at the meeting Marty. I thought you were going to bring the Dukes one. Looks good

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks!! I have a few thing to do to the motor that I didn't have the time to do and I'll post some photos later of it which btw is a 383 and not the 426 that came in the kit.
Sixties Sam Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 (edited) Beep! beep! Nice Road Runner! Looks mean! I was a teenager when those cars came out. I loved them. A guy in my home town had a green one that was destroyed in about 1981 in a barn fire set by an arsonist! The car was literally melted! What a shame, and they never caught the guy!
