I scratched out the aero skirts, adapted the rollcage and some racin parts from the Corvette racer kits and borrowed the wheels too. Made the decals like the old GT40's. Somewhere along the line I lost the tail lights so I made some from headlights. I'd loose my head if........ I've always been impressed by how well Ford's updated rework of the GT40 captured the spirit of the original. It's not easy to do an entirely different car that's instantly recognizable as the direct and beautiful descendant of an icon, and not a silly caricature.
