Looking for a particular thread

In the last 2-3 months or so, I came across a thread that may have started off as a demonstration of how to drill out a distributor cap (kit part and sprue-made). The author also showed how to make 90* plug wire boots to go into the cap.

Someone in the thread eventually asked for advice on where to buy the best pin vice at the best price which resulted in some great links to various vendors.

I assume the thread was in the Tips & Tricks section, but my "search" came up empty. Help?

Hah, Snap, I was looking for that too. I checked out the local model shop yesterday for a pin vise and it was $40.00 bucks! that's about $28 USD.

Hey Alan, try Jaycar the electronics shop IIRC they have them for $20 local, only go to frankton ms for desperate supplys

I just pull the blade out of my Xacto and chuck the little bits in there.

Hey Mike - I have the same pin vise as the one in the middle of your pic. Rusty & worn out looking too! I can't read the manufacturer on the barrel. Can you? I'd like to get at least another one just like it.
