roadhawg Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I've been MIA for awhile due to a dead computer, but I DID manage to finish the '61 Starliner for the "Build as you would order/build a replica CPB". First, the real car: Now, heres the finished project. This is the original issue '61 Starliner customizing kit. Fender skirts are modified from a '59 Chevy. Photoetch scripts are from Missing Link. I tried to build the kit as close as possible to the way it was intended, and the meant using the rubber band hood retainer and the metal axles. I left off the side view mirrors because I couldn't find an exact match. Paint is Tamiya black. This was a fun build...I almost hate to send it to it's rightful owner!
