Lownslow Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 what kind of printer? before you print you should set your settings to fine or sharp, if it has a photo option (always do that).
JamesW Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 If you get it figured out I may have a few for you to print for me.

wisdonm Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I would try it back in the text mode. I never change mine to print decals.
Jon Cole Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I always thought the rule of thumb was not to print direct to decal film on a home inkjet printer? I make a good quality master print, and take that and the film to a copy house (Staples) and have them run it through their best quality copier

caine440 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I have been using a canon pixma MP560 ink jet to print my decals. I use decal paper designed for the ink-jet printer. After allowing the ink to dry you clear coat it a few times to protect the ink. I set the printer settings to photo, glossy paper, and vivid photo in the different set up screens. The results have been mixed but over all I am happy. You have to use white backed paper to get any type of color coverage on dark cars. Just change the background color to match the car color. I still have tons to learn as I am just getting started.
