Hey Bill.

Better late than never, I am working on a 35 Ford Conversion kit if you are still interested.

Cheers !

I am interested for sure, keep us posted when it is ready.

I am interested as well. Can you give us some details as to just what your conversion kit will contain? Most people disagree with me but I think the 35 grill is better looking than the 36.

I totally agree the 35 Grill is better looking.

The kit will be designed to fit the AMT 1:25 scale 36 Coupe roadster. The kit will include the grill, full fenders and hood. I may include a set of headlights as well.

As well as a conversion kit, I will also be looking at doing some more complete kits. These ones won't need a conversion kit to finish them as they will include a full chassis body and interior. At the moment I am looking at a stock 4 Door Woodie, a Roadster Utility ( kind of like the one in my avatar picture ) and the final one will be another rare one a Type 48 Cabriolet. These ones have suicide doors.

Not sure when i will get it done but so far i have reshaped the front fenders and i started work on the grill today.

I agree and am interested too. While your carving plastic, how about looking into a '35'36 willys. Just the front end and maybe the hood would do it. Some ask why, and with that, you can do a highboy.

Hey Mike.

I have actually tried to create a 35-36 Willys but ended up scrapping it because the front did not look right. I have kept the body though and I will get back into creating the front again some time. The front end on these is really hard to reproduce. It will have to be scratch built because there is no similarity whatsoever between the 33 and 35 fronts.

The hardest thing to create with the 35 fronts are the port hole louvers in the sides and the fenders which have the headlights moulded into them. I am not sure what I will use for the fenders.
