Jared Roach Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 So I love gm s-series trucks, I was brousing the s10 forum and came across this, some woman ran into the back of him and totaled it, man what a beutiful truck too. WAS a extreme but it was debodykitted and the normal s10 bumbers installed, had a cowel hood, corvette rims, just a all around nice truck, too bad, I loved it! If you look closly the bumper from the other car is sill stuck to it and one of the vette rims got screwed up. SEE?? I look at these trucks wrecked all the time but this one hit me hard, makes me want to cry!!!
Casey Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Now I understand why you're so excited for the Syclone kit to be re-issued.
Joe Handley Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 That's a shame, looks like that S10 was a pretty nice truck. How hard was it it to fold it up like that though?
JamesW Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 That sucks. On a brighter side though, I'll take the hood, rims and seats for my S-10.

Jared Roach Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 That sucks. On a brighter side though, I'll take the hood, rims and seats for my S-10. The guy already parted it out, and one of the rims was bent on the inside.

Railfreak78 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I'll tell Toby to put a pic of his 99 on here. The passenger side was really shoved in and the top of the door was flaired out but now he got that bent back. All just cause a guy in a 92ish F150 back out of a driveway into him. Messed up the door and cab pretty bad for a light impact.
scummy Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 G,day , gee for a vehicle thats been whacked in the rear at 70mph the cab stood up well .

Your a Very Luck guy.. it was licensed as a moped they took the head because it was a high compression unit dont ask why they took the front sprocket i ran into the cop who was the first on the scene about a year after the fact she said that when she first saw me she thought i was dead i guess it paid of to wear a helmet
disabled modeler Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 WOW! The S-10 held-up better than my 83 Trans Am did....Mine was hit in the same manor at around 60mph on one side of the back and was 4 foot shorter than it started as-even bent the front of the roof forward on both sides by about 6 or 7 inches . It was completely restored other than for the paint job, New everything. Car had around 120 miles on the restore and got to drive it for only two weeks to the day
JamesW Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I don't have pics, but I broadsided a 90's Lincoln in my 86 Cavalier back in 2000. Messed the Linc up but all it did was rip my bumper cover off. In 95, my first winter on the road, I hit a brick wall (only doin about 15) in my 95 Ranger Splash (I hit a patch of black ice). Messed up the front end. I was so mad I kicked the bed right behind the cab. Because the bed on the Splash is fiberglass I cracked it.
Rat Fink Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) I have a BUNCH of crash pics. Here's my favorite. The driver came around a turn to find traffic stopped and rear ended a truck, she was then reaended by another vehicle rupturing the gas tank and starting a fire. She had a propane tank in the rear that exploded and ripped the car open like a sardine can. No one was hurt in this accident. Edited March 7, 2010 by Rat Fink
JamesW Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 WOW, looks like it USED TO BE a Stratus, Cirrus or a Breeze.
Guest arni Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I had a lucky escape three years ago,I was driving a six months old Works Fiesta when a 40 ton truck pulled out of a junction...Hit me in the front passenger door, flipped me into a ditch..I crawled out unhurt, when the police turned up myself and the truck driver were leaning against the fiesta having a smoke...Our thoughts were that it was a genuine accident,no point in making a big deal about it. He admitted liability to the accident,so no worries.
CAL Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 apperantly this turned out to be too much car for these guys.
CAL Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Is that.........I mean WAS that a Porche????? Was a Porsche GT2.
