Edward Gore Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 This project is something I wanted to do for a while. It took me about 1 year to complete. The front suspension is scratch built for articulated steering of the front wheels. This is not connected t the steering wheel. Spare tire case, in "continental" position is also scratch to look like those on the military HMMWVs. Can be articulated in the open or closed position. I used the alternator and a piece of the kit's sprue for the BLACK OUT light and a part from a disposable lighter for the NATO jump plug which are both positioned in front of the grille. Decals are from Jim, JBOT Hood ornament is a Seabee, purchased from a Navy museum gift shop thanks for looking
Clay Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Not a fan of the cars them selves, but I do admire the craftmanship of the models them selves, great work on this one.
RodneyBad Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Looks good. Like the color and the details. Nice work..
Edward Gore Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Thanks for the comments. Clay, me neither and also, there are none in my local area and I know nothing about them in 1/1
Railfreak78 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Sweet Caddy! Did those wheels come with the kit? They are sick. Nice Tribute car, check out my tribute Mustang when you get a chance. Nice work!
Mooneyzs Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 This Kit looks great. This is a pretty cool build for sure. that interior is insane and looks great. Very good job man
Peter Lombardo Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Well it is different! Not my thing, but if you had fun with it, that is all that matters. I mean, it is well done, for what it is. "Build quality" is build quality regardless of the subject. Well done.

Brizio Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I'm not a big fan of those donk cars, bu I like your interpretation!
sjordan2 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Hey, shouldn't those seats have olive drab webbing?! (Just kidding.) Great detail work. And I'm another of the guys who hate donks but admire excellent craftsmanship.
