On one of the Euro specialty real car sites there is a Series II for sale that looks like the model front end. I like that front better too. The picture of the real car might be a MC version or something. Like I said before they did about 30 different Fulvia
B_rad88 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 (edited) ok, well i thought to ask, its very neat kit, since its the only one of the 1965 lancia fulvia i found, and it looks like resin to me. and thank you guys for loving a such a beautiful car, unlike some others that diss it for the problems it has, i over look those, cause for a car that unique, its worth it, lol and for the lancia lovers: i love how it sounds thanks for the help guys, i greatly appreciate it! and cool story moparfan! B_rad88 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 (edited) don't know that i agree it's as pretty as the sun setting over Charlize Theron, but it is a cool car in some ways it reminds me alot of my dad's old Fiat 124 Spyder. i was a bit suprised to hear it was front wheel drive and more expensive when new than a Jaguar E-type. find out who the resin company is yet who made the kit? Dave well either way they both are beautiful, lol and yeah i was suprised at that too, and i've heard when your driving it, it feels like your doing only 100, but actually your only doing 50, lol and no not yet, i have a friend helping me search for it. my friend did point out something i did miss, on the decal sheet, there is a H.T.M, thats all we could get, i have no idea whom that is. CAL Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I love it. We are not in it, it's not moving (broke down on the side of the road) and we are still enjoying it.
CAL Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 (edited) It also reminds me a little of the Fiat X 1/9 I had. They even used the same the headlights on the Stratos. That is exactly how the Fiat was too, always felt like you were doing 100, but in fact it was going a lot slower than that. I am not even sure it could do a 100. Edited March 16, 2010 by CAL
B_rad88 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 I love it. We are not in it, it's not moving (broke down on the side of the road) and we are still enjoying it. lol, yeah, heck, if i was in there shoes, i would be enjoying it too, lol It also reminds me a little of the Fiat X 1/9 I had. B_rad88 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 the X1/9's have a bit of a following. pretty cool too i think and a unique car. one of my co-workers used to have a Lancia Scorpion. incredibly hard to find parts for i remember but a very fun car. pretty much one of those deals too where you felt like you were going alot faster then you were. my dad has an 850 Spyder now and wants to sell it. way too underpowered for me, but it does look kinda fast Dave yeah, the x1/9 styling is one of a kind, and yeah, most of euro market cars..... classic cars, its hard to find the parts for all of them, witch sucks. and oh, really? cool. and they look like they have a tiny engine, ugh. but hey i has to be faster than the geo metro i used to have, lol.
B_rad88 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 found this with a quick Google search http://automodelli.e...php/language/en looks like it's 100 Euros Dave thank you, thats cool, kick a$$ , thank you very much for the help!
CAL Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 (edited) They didn't give the X 1/9 a name even. X 1/9 was the factory project code for the car. It was a fun little car, just didn't have that much power. And it had a whole list of problems. It had like two giant ground posts with a million wires on each post, and most of the electronics stopped working correctly. The headlights stopped going up and down. The gas gauge worked from 1/2 to full, but never below full. The strut cartridge caps popped off occationally Mine had a pair of Maserati Webbers, which caught on fire once in a while, a cam, and a header. It sounded even faster but didn't do much to make it any faster. At least it was a Bertone Ed. Edited March 16, 2010 by CAL

It was a 1.3, same engine that ended up in the Yugo. I took off the 600 pound US bumpers and that help it more than any engine mods. It made the car look much better too. Apperently, Fiat didn't like the US rules and made some big stupid THINGs to meet US standars. Edited March 16, 2010 by CAL
