RodneyBad
Not 100% done but 98% always works good for me Did a spring over lift which gives it about a 5"inch lift plus a little more Gotta have a spare mount in the back along with dual batteries. I cut the hood open and swapped in a Monogram Chevy S-10 V-6 Popular swap on 1:1 I had another color and plan for it but things change. But with most repaints, some areas get missed. Can't help but with having a V-6 ya gotta have a set of Cherry bombs. whoops, forgot the brakes. Fix that in production Thanks for looking Edited March 27, 2010 by Zukiholic

RodneyBad
Zinn A V-6 from a Grand National would work Great and a whole lot faster To get the bulge for the tires, there is a PVC tube slipped over the wheel with just enough room for the tire to fit on the rim.. Mopar: Thanks, I cut and hinged the hood and swapped in a Monogram Chevy S-10 V-6 I painted it red since a member of the Suzuki group has a Red one about this size and got pulled over for lack of fender flares. So I did a pic of my sammie with an OSP Camaro model I did. Add Karma....... a week later, I got the same ticket.

Zinn A V-6 from a Grand National would work Great and a whole lot faster I agree, and that's what I did to my lifted Samurai I built in 1989:

Ha Ha. no my Buddie got ticketed around MtHood area and I was in portland on the way to work. Some Old copper on a bike kept calling my Zuk a Jeep. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr Telling me I had the wrong fenders on my jeep and he didn't know why but I should get it fixed.. Same bikecop got my lil bro too even tho he had a receipt showing he just bought the tires and ordered the fender flares.. Some (just some)cops need to retire Early! Dave your Sammmies are Awesome. all 3 of them too. Engine looks great in it. Mmmmmm, I wonder if any body has done that in 1:1?
RodneyBad
zuk thanks for the info ill ask my LHS buddy if he can get me one It might be easier going Ebay or HLJ.com. I know the LHS in my area couldn't/wouldn't get them. Too bad too. I've order a lot (30-40)of the Sammies and Sidekicks from HLJ for my Zuki club. RodneyBad
Thanks. I don't think I'd take it on a Baja run but be fun in the mud, sand and Rocks. Finding a Fujimi Jimny/Samuria kit is getting a little hard these days so your best shot is checking on-line hobby shops and other auction (cough*ebay*cough*) sites Here is a link to a How-to I just did on making the tires fit the much wider rims. My First how-to too http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29464 Thanks for lookin..
