You guys aren't helping me narrow down my choices. ;)

I need less Ideas, not more. :D

I mean, One idea since I only have 1 Frame, 1 truck and 4 tires.

Unless I tear down the So-Real truck I have but it has different wheels.

But if I

No

but..

If I,

Then..

But..

No,

And,

Well maybe?

New Coke?

Old Coke?

I got a headache now

PM your address and I'll send you out 4 more of those tires, I have a set of them that I'm not going to use and I'd be more then glad to give them to you to see that truck get built!

I try and think of what everybody has done and do something else Crazier :)

I'm sure I've seen a Built Semi 6x6 Monster truck some where now that I think about it.

Sooo. No Semi Cab.

But.

This will be the plan this,

but....

With or without the sleeper?

use it has a toolbox or has a sleeper?

If I use the sleeper, I'll extend the wheelbase 3ft (1 1/2 inches) to center the 2 axles

under the load.

P3310001.jpg

P3310003.jpg

The tires came from a John Deere Toy from WalMart.

http://stoneandstemle.net/5monstertreadsassortment.aspx

BTW: all 6 tires set level. :D

I think no sleeper, more to get in the way on the trail! The steps are actually a battery box on the driver's side and a toolbox on the other, so you could use both as toolboxes on this truck. Then maybe add another under the bed under the frame. By the way, I LOVE THE NEW REAR WHEELS!!

Thanks Marty, I'll take ya up on your offer.

Guess I can't put it on the Back Burner now. :D

Thanks Matt, I'm gonna use as much as the Revell Peterbilt as I can for a stock appearance.

Fuel Tanks, batteryBoxes and what-nots.

I might even use the front fenders.

Thanks Brian, Been working really late all week, Yaa Whoo but i'm getting tired.

Yours has been boxed up and ready to go all week.

Hope my PO doesn't take Saturdays off.

I think as far as Permits, It is a Off-Road Semi (kind've) might be able to fudge something

up.

Thanks Brizio, Marty has me covered.

Dang, I've always had a lack of Ideas on build projects.

Now I have Way More than I can cover. ;)

I may have to shelve this for a short bit b-4 my head Explodes.:lol:

Nah, I'll start working on the Deck.

I think I have those rear wheels ;) Well my son anyway. Oh hey bud just to let you know your F-150 is on its way as of today!

Think he'd miss'em?

Slip on some Chrome wheels.

BTW: I started this Hauler for 2 reasons.

To haul my Honda and replace my Missing Dodge RampTruck.

SiglineHauler300x168.jpg

I have been unable to find it since a show last Nov.

My bloodsugar level was low and I left early forgetting it.

Hasn't been seen since.

I could be wrong but have been unable to find it since that day.

For All I know, it could still turn up. :)

WOW! Great build, with lots of ideas. Here is my .02 cents worth. Use the F-350 cab, no sleeper, the John Deere wheels and tires, for the rear at least. I've started buying those toys from WalMart and taking the wheels/tires for my projects. If the Cat engine will fit, maybe with a body lift, that would be so tough!!!!

Now I have to go to Michaels and get another Peterbilt 359.......... so many models and ideas, and no room left in the display cabinet. B) Keep the pictures coming, after you take some pain meds for the headache! :(

that's a HUGE truck! could look cool painted up like an old Army truck?

there is a very nice resin "driving" axle for big trucks that would work nicely under the front of this thing. i think Sourkrauts has it. there is a pretty nice Warn winch there too that could work on the bed of this thing, but i know you can build a nicer one yourself ;)

Dave

Hey MrZinn, Can you make a Bigger Atlas T-case? ;)

Found it B)

KFS%20TQ70frontdriveaxle.jpg

Nice, Very Nice.

I see Soo many Nice things there I didn't know I needed :D

Right me up for a Dozen.

SourKrauts is in another country?

Okay,

The Plan (so far)

Ford Cab.

Army Green

16ft flatbed. (tilt or Ramp, or Flat style with fixed ramp)

Maybe the Huge Super singles in rear

Or Duel Boggers

Ford Motor, the Cat motor is soo Huge, I'd have to extent the front of the truck

a foot (1"inch)

Did that today and working on the headache. V

Didn't make it to walmart today tho. ;)

back to drawing up plans and framing the bed.

Sonds like it will be a cool truck when done I know

how hard it is to fit a semi motor into a pickup

have had one for years that was given to me and

can not fit it into anything I have got plan to

build a pickup later and make front fit engine.

It is coming along great will be watching to see

how it looks when done never thought of walmart

for tires now have to go look at some for couple

projects I want to do.

If I can find a 1/32 Truck with a motor,

It might work for a pick up Diesel?

Darn, Not enough EverGreen #257 to build a Frame tonight.

Uuuuuuuuuugh..

It was suppose to be a simple build..

1/16? 1/18th? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm it Could work..

Yup, so far my old Ramp truck has not turned up and probley won't either.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..

I still haven't checked into ordering the 4x4 set up from Sourkrauts yet.

But if he's there and has one with him

Okay, a weeks worth of thinkin and tinkerin.

I'm going with a Beavertail Deck.(perty sure about that part)

Another Idea tho.

Old standard cab Ford.

Why Ford?

I don't have a 1/24 Dodge pick-up unless I modify a RamCharger.

Not gonna do it. (maybe. ya, perty sure?)

Looks good with the older cab, Rodney, I like!! Is that the old Monogram stepside F150 cab? If so, I got a body that really needs a frame!

Looking real nice love how it is coming together

I am watching this build more now just bought a

F250 super duty and not happy with it wanted a

4X4 truck thinking of getting some tires and

looking for a axle that will work to do a 4X4

conversion on it

"O" I see where your going with that. ;)

That is an Old Monogram Ford Quadzilla kit. Not much left of it but it does have a frame

I wouldn't be usin (no stock suspension or engine)

had to scrounge for a cab back

Gary,

Maybe the monogram Ford Bronco 4x4 suspension would fit right under it?

it would Make it a half-ton but could work.

I still gotta figure what Engine to go in it that would be big enough to haul it.

I really lack 1/24 Ford BigBlocks.

(Thinkin thinkin thinkin)

I smell smoke

Anybody got any Bright ideas where I might find a Ford bigblock and which one would work?

428/429?

Blown?

zuk ya need a big old diesel in that rig ;)

O really? :P

I got one to fit but is it too Funkie looking?

A V-8 diesel from the AMT international Paystar 5000.

P4100004a.jpg

Of course I'll have to fix the hole in the hood.

P4100008.jpg

I'll have to make a bumper to protect the Radiator. ;)

Anybody know what Kind of Engine that comes in the International Paystar 5000 and

any photos so I can make it look half way right?

Thanks for lookin at the slow progress of my thought process ;)

As for the bigblock the F250 kit that is tan and white

on the box with barbed wire decals on it has 1/24th scale

a 7.5 with a auto transmissionin it or there is the Boss

429 Mustang or the 1968 Shelby GT 500 has a 428 for bigblocks

also think when I was at hobby shop saw a bigblock in a

Revelle garage parts deal just motor

Thanks might have to try that or just take a old rear axle

I have and make it work I am on a tight buget so will see

what comes when I get to building it also have a F150

Flareside 4X4 got yesterday that I want to do as a wild off

road truck so when go shopping in bit going to look for tires

was told could use ones from matchbox monster truck but think

they will be to small will look at cheap bigger trucks and

equipment as want wild tread

I really haven't done much for the ramp yet.

Just got the general shape so far.

been dealing with which or what motor I'm gonna use and front axle issue.

Just came up with another engine Idea out of the AMT Ford Louisville hauler

here's some pics tho.

P4100007.jpg

Don't know if I'll build it all flat or two ramps with a open space between.

Thanks now I have a idea what a ramp should look like

if I build a flat bed. Thinking of extending kit frame with

plastic to make it longer as dont have money to get a

semi just for frame. And I think a hauler would look

great in my collection again
