Nick Winter Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 That is one great truck Jeff! Bet it sells a bunch to the PU lovers! Nick I can remember the first time I saw a Mecury Truck! Was around that same year. Even my Grandpa thought it was someones Idea of a joke until the next door neighbor where the guy was visiting told us different. The neighbor was from Upper Michigan originally so he had seen plenty of those trucks! Building the Canadian truck would be a cool piece to display and confuse those who don't know! Well now I'll have to get a few of these fords and maybe if Jeff does the Merc I'll have to get a few more
george 53 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I'll expect you to camp out on Jeff's front porch until you have 2 of these in hand, buddy !! Actually Pat, he lives close enough to make it over there in less that 15/20 minutes! He was gettin ready for the NNL's an him an Kevin are takein Kris Morgan with them, so he told me ta come get 'em on Monday! So I'll have 'em for Fridays meeting!! YESSSS!

Railfreak78 Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Thats awesome as I used to own one like this but it was yellow when I got and I painted it flat black. I'd love to make a model of it but I only have a die cast and thats not really my style. I'll have to get one one of these.
PatRedmond Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I'll be doing a chromed out more formal if the Mercury conversion appears. The Ford will be a mild custom/era street machine. Well now I'll have to get a few of these fords and maybe if Jeff does the Merc I'll have to get a few more

Chuck Most Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) Well, Jeff, looks like you'll be sucking some more cash out of my wallet very shortly here! That is, of course, after I get the Plymouth wagon. And the Jeep Dispatch. And, possibly, five or six more Metros... Edited April 13, 2010 by Chuck Most
