Just picked this one up from Tower,,,$24.95, and free shipping,

I have been finding weekly deals in their closeouts and dent sections...you gotta keep looking, as some are there for less than a week. Grand sport corvette same way!

Much the same as lindbergh, depending on the kit it can be great to fair. As with many companies thier airplane kits are superior to most of thier car kits. IIRC I once had a minicraft Mercedes Gullwing kit, that was decently detailed but a tad fussy getting it together so the doors worked. I remember the drivers door never worked right so I displayed it passenger side out. :D

I think Kevin put it best here- asking about a Minicraft kit is a lot like asking about a Lindberg kit. Both brands are kind of an 'ask around before you buy' proposition.

If it is Hubley, then 1958-1960 would be pretty close.

Lindberg and Ideal Model Corp also did TR3s, but IIRC they were 1/32nd scale with multi-piece bodies and definitely don't look the same as the Minicraft.
