I started out with a willy's gluebomb and accidently set it on top of 40 ford front clip. It looked cool so I started cutting. Engine is a Desoto "Fire Dome" Hemi. The interior is the rear seat section of a 58 Impala. I weathered the paint and added dimpled welds to appear like they were unfinished. I have done a couple of builds that were very successful by "limiting" myself to what the real 1:1 car (and builder) could have had on hand....given date-place-time of build etc. This one looks good and I really like the approach..... Budd Body company which made a lot of bodies for the Ford Comapany would have been the company to have done this one had Ford not been in such dire financal straights then . Very interesting ride !
