Fuel Coupe Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) Well, 1/16 anyway. Here's project, Ive been wanting to do for a while. I started with a 1/16 scale Mickey Thompson Grand Prix and went with a Greg Fox resin 75 dart body and correct size M H slicks. Ive rebuild the front end and suspension to replicate the "low rider" style chassis. Here's the front motor plates I made from thin sheet aluminum. Its a small start to a big project... Modelmartin Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 That looks like great start. I remember that car. He was real low budget and showed up with a ramp truck and 2 extra pistons when all the other "names" had dualies, Chapparral trailers and several extra "soldiers" to do battle with. Looking forward to seeing this one done - very cool!
Fuel Coupe Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 here's another update, still working on engine alignment and ride height...
