Chuck Kourouklis Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Absolutely. That's by far the quickest and most pragmatic way to do it. Heck, if you really wanna rock that sucker back, you might consider using Revell's own raising blocks for the front instead of the rear. I listed the methods I did because they will also articulate poses for the front suspension arms.
Chuck Kourouklis Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Which gets me thinking - there are four risers, two short "stock" ones, and two taller "drag" ones. Because of the difference in height, I'm guessing they weren't actually intended by Revell for the four attachment points of the front suspension piece. I still gotta wonder how they might work, though...
carrucha Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I picked up the kit last weekend and it's great. It's as detailed as the their '64 Impala SS kit. My only complaint is that they didn't mold on the body the front fender crossed flag & 409 emblems and the rear quarter panel Impala script emblem and Impala emblem. They have those emblems on the decal sheet. I guess I will be buying the Model Car Garage 1962 Chevy Impala photo etch kit for those emblems. Kudos to Revell for releasing a superb model. carrucha
