Reeves Racing Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 OOB Polar Lights kit with Duplicolor Wimbelton white and Testers Ruby Red Metalflake enamel. Kit decals and aftermarket tire decals.
Eric Stone Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Looks good! I have a PL 69 Torino that needs to be finished... I'd be happy if mine turned out as good as yours.
Railfreak78 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Nice work on a great piece of Nascar history. I love the older cars like this.
Navy48 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 yea, nice build. I too have the PL Torino in my closet. maybe it's time to get it out and BUILD IT?? well, that and finish my Dan Gurney Superbird, my Petty Charger and my #41 Al Unser Charger. oh man, now I'm depressed and overwhelmed. too many projects, so little time.......
LUKE'57 Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Really good lookin' old Merc. I like it a lot. But, instead of using the factory Wimbledon White, which is kind of a "dirty" white, like you would expect, the Woods always used a bright white. Please don't take offense, it is still a beautful build.
David G. Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Back when NASCARs used to be cars and not purpose-built race vehicles with car stylized car bodies grafted on. Excellent work.

LUKE'57 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Thanks for being so good natured and I really do like your build. But please don't take my picture as "real" reference because it's a pic of me and my model on one of my photoshopped covers. I'm just SO sneaky like that.
