Danno Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 The incredible model of Joe Teresi's Easy Riders Streamliner Land Speed Record Holder motorcycle, faithfully replicated in scratchbuilt artistry by John Teresi, his son. Pull up a chair and feast your eyes on this!
MikeeD Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Wow!!! That's incredible...and scratch built? That's a work of art!
Railfreak78 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 This was truely amazing! Here are my pics of it.
Raul_Perez Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I saw this one at the NNL West. Pictures don't do justice to all of the amazing scratch building and detail work!! If I remember correctly, this one was a contender for the People's Choice Award. Thanks for sharing, John!!
Jon Cole Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Somewhere, somehow, builds like this blur the lines between "model", to "artwork", to "engineering masterpiece"! When it no longer on the model show circuit, perhaps it should go... to the Smithsonian?!
dodgerblue62 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 VERY , VERY , NICE BUILD . THE DETAIL IS TOPS ....
Rob Hall Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I saw that build..the detail was incredible. Some that I really liked were the '59 Chrysler Imperial Ghia Limosine, the '60s Lotus Indy car, and a clean cream colored '67 Cougar.
Danno Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Bumping thread up for the convenience of "meaneyme."
Danno Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Thanks, Kevin, it was. Boy, those two posts sure got buried quickly ... so much going on here all the time!
