Guest zebm1 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 How do you figure out what to pay Model factory Hiro......is almost all hieroglyphics...all in Yen?
Stingray69 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Bill, he's still in business, I meant to order some stuff of him a few months ago. He posts here as "astroracer". Check the memberslist and you can contact him with what you need.

Anyone know for sure if they're still in business?? :?: Hi Bill, they stopped online orders as of July 31, 2003 but they are still in business. What they suggest is to place your order using their online catalog and e-mail it to them so it can be verified to see if all the items you want are currently available. Payments must be done by paypal or Postal Money order. Personal Checks will delay your order 3 to 4 weeks.
MrObsessive Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 AAAAHH I see!! 'Cuz they make great extra small diameter stainless steel tubing..........good stuff for making three stage model car antennae's!
Guest zebm1 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I found some puurfect 50s era racing wire wheels and tires at R&D Unique #RDU-1518, thanks for yur help guys.
jbwelda Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 an outfit called southeatst finecast makes some very nice wires too. havent got a link but a google search ought to turn them up. ive got some 72 spoke ones with tyres that are mega cool looking.
Modelmartin Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Check out the Model factory Hiro line on Hobby Link Japan hlj.com They are great to do business with and if it is available they will get it for you. It's all in English, too! They are one of my favorite places to shop online. The Southestaern (Wills) Finecast wheels are great but are tall and skinny for pre-war sports cars and maybe MG-TCs.
Guest zebm1 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Thanx Andy, I tried tha Hiro website....but it's all Greek....er Japanese to me.
Modelmartin Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Try hlj.com NOT Hiro. Hby Link Japan is run by an american in Japan and their entire site is in English. The only Japanese charcters visible are in the photos of the boxes!!
