jeffs396 Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 (edited) Here's a Welly 1/24 Jeep JK diecast I recently picked up...unavailable in the US got it directly from China... after disassembly, and with a little help from some SoReal tires & modified Rubicon wheels, here's a mockup of what it can look like: and with the top: this may become the four-door Unlimited, but I'm kinda liking the two-door for now... 67PontiacGTO Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 It looks awesome. I always like lifted jeeps, and I think you should leave it as a two door it looks much better IMO.
Wheels Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 That is really cool! I love Jeep and I love them lifted. I miss my CJ every sunny day! Leave it 2 door! Get another for the 4 door!
1972 Satellite Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I have been waiting for someone to come out with a JK in scale since I got the Unlimited a couple years ago. The bottle of touch up paint is waiting to be used on the replica.

charlie8575 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 They don't sell it here? That's just plain dumb- or Chrysler's legal eagles laying another in the series of big eggs they've laid since the whole royalty issue came to a head in the early 1990s.' Looking good, Jeff. Care to share your sourcing information with us? That's something that should be made plastic. Oh, as to the diesel issue...watch for it in the next couple of years from what I remember reading, possibly next year. Charlie Larkin

Charlie Larkin Here's who I got mine from: eBay seller's link BIN was $19.99...I first low-balled @ $12.50, they shot it down. Tried again a few weeks later for $15 and they took it. They have quite the stock of Welly subjects. I contacted Welly about the Jeep, they told me this was unavailable in the US...why? Who knows, probably licensing BS. More 1:1 JKs are sold here than anywhere else! The Wrangler is no longer on Welly's site, taken off about a week after I contacted them
