I have seen some of yall use a wash called the detailer. I have seen them in different colors and I know that you can use the black for grilles, red for taillights, etc. I would like to know how well this stuff works and what some of the other colors are used for? Thanx, Benjamin

Ambroid help
67PontiacGTO replied to 67PontiacGTO's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanx yall helped me out alot. I have some of the glue in a brown bottle (annies original tacky is what i believe its called)you buy@wally world. Is that good for general kit construction. It just takes a little but of time to dry. I like it compared to superglue cause it give me time to work with the piece if need be and dries clear. Is this good qualities for model glue. Benjamin -
I bought some ambroid pro weld a month or so ago and I am having the hardest time getting it to stick to anything. It just wount hold on bare plastic, painted surfaces( it melts away the paint) turned aluminum to plastic. I just cant figure the darn thing out, it cant be that hard. Some one please help. This delay is holding me up big time. I thought about trying Tenax but I am just unsure. Thanx, Benjamin

Yeah the avies are great my dad has an 07 and it is wicked. Sweet looking truck Eric.I hear ya on run em hard I have to check myself sometimes. I have had my truck up to 90 on the interstate w/o a radar detector. I usually run bout 80 on the interstate, pisses my parents off. I had it on a paved back road the other day and in bout a 700 ft strectch from a 5 mph roll got it up to 70 but had to slow it way down cause I had to make a sharp turn. benjamin
