Here's some pics of my build painted with HOK candy pearl root beer. Pegasus Tri-Blade wheels. Behind the rear tube grille is a full width taillight.

Hey Don - I painted some plates like that and have used them on my last few builds and will put one on every kit from now on. I need to print some on the color printer with photo paper.

Marine Corps here - 1st Battalion/13th Marines. Northern Artillery Contonement (about 10 miles west of DaNang), 1969-70.

Welcome Home, Brother.

The HOK root beer is much different from Testor's 1 coat root beer. The chassis is done with the Testor's stuff.

Thanks for the reply beefheart22.

Thank you for the postive replies.

Fellow Vietnam Veterans - WELCOME HOME! Don't know if any of you are involved with the Veterans community, but if not, you should be. There's new info coming out that could relate to your service in Vietnam - prostate cancer, heart disease, Parkinson's - that are presumptive diseases.

JIm, nice build on the Pontiac. Also to Jim and the rest of you here who served our Country, a hearty thanks. I'll be thinking of you guys and all the others who DIDN'T make it home. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend, gentleman – You deserve it!

You're welcome Qwit Pushin. Back problems prevented me from attending Rolling Thunder XXII demonstration ride this weekend in Washington, DC. No where else can you get over 600,000 bikes together in one place at one time and ride for POW/MIA awareness and Veterans issues. Hopefully I'll be able to make next year.

So I'll be headed over to a local cemetery on Monday for Memorial Day ceremonies at 10:00am.
